Gravel Pads

Gravel Pads are recommended over shed foundation blocks as blocks can cause structural problems on time passes. When sizing your gravel pads are always a foot wider than the structure all the way around to reduce water splash from rain (falling off the roof), eliminate weeds (and weed-whacking) against wood or vinyl siding.  Not only will your shed structure remain more dry but it will stay cleaner. Depth of your gravel pad is important too, not just width and length.  Your municipality may require specific or deeper stone base to hold more water to control water runoff issues when installing a shed.
